Born and educated in South Africa. Left in 1965 and attended The London School of Film Technique for 2 years. Became a documentary assistant in the days when documentary cameramen had assistants and after 3 years, which included focus pulling on one feature, started out shooting documentaries. From 1971 to 1985 shot many documentaries and a few features. From 1985 onwards stopped with the documentaries and concentrated on TV dramas and feature films.

Antonello Rubino
Production Designer - Art Director - Set Director

After years of professional experience in the fields of art and architecture, in 1990 Antonello Grimaudo Rubino turned his attention full time to the film industry in the capacity of Art Director, Costume Designer and Production Designer. He has worked on numerous significant television and film productions in many countries and is principally involved in projects of a historical nature. Within this sphere, he develops his work in such a way so that the visual element takes on the role of ìsilent narratorî in the eyes of the viewer. Thus the visual component contributes towards the narration of stories, emotions and slices-of-life through the use of forms, objects and nuances. Particularly painstaking with regards to the reconstruction of settings, he attempts to mix historical reality with a wealth of images amassed by the audience, transforming the viewing of a film into a reassuring journey through oneís recollections. Other directors with whom he has worked include Ken Annakin, Pasquale Squitieri, Uli Edel, Andy Morhan, Massimo Terranova, Stefano Gabrini, Mark Roper, Tonino Valerii, Paul Feig, Eros Puglielli, Antonio Margheriti, Fabrizio Costa, Alfredo Peyretti, Gianluigi Calderone, Greg Marcks, Dave Parker, Paul Bradshaw, Nigel Paterson, Mike Wadding, etc.
Svetlana Adjoubei
Director Academia Rossica

Svetlana Adjoubei graduated from Moscow State University, and in 2000 founded the arts organisation Academia Rossica, which represents contemporary Russian culture in Britain. She is the founder and director of the Russian Film Festival in London, which has become an annual showcase of the best new Russian films and a meeting point for those who are interested in collaborating with Russian film production: agents, producers, directors, experts. Academia Rossica represents contemporary Russian writers in English-speaking countries, inviting them to participate at international literary festivals and book fairs. It also supports the intergration of Russian contemporary artists into the international arts market, entering their work in exhibitions of contemporary art around the world.
Pietro Colussi
CinemaZero

Sposato, con un figlio. Laureato in Psicologia all'Università di Padova, dal 1978 lavora presso il Dipartimento di Salute Mentale dell'ASS n.6 del Friuli Occidentale come psicologo psicoterapeuta. Operatore culturale per passione, contribuisce verso la fine degli anni '70 alla nascita dellíassociazione Cinemazero e, poco più tardi, nel 1982, a quella del festival internazionale Le Giornate del Cinema Muto, ospitato negli ultimi anni a Sacile.
Attualmente è nel direttivo di Cinemazero e presidente dell'A.V.I. (Associazione delle Mediateche e Videoteche Italiane) che raccoglie alcune fra le più importanti istituzioni che operano in questo ambito del nostro Paese.
Presta attività di volontariato nellíassociazione Ictus di Pordenone. Pubblicista dal 1989, scrive e collabora per riviste specializzate. E' al suo secondo mandato in Consiglio Regionale del Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Robin Douet Production Manager

Robin has acted as production manager on such films as The Killing Fields (1984), winner of 3 Academy Awards, and The Man Who Would Be King (1975).

BECKSTAGE ULTIMA PRODUZIONE

Ed ecco postare il backstage della mia ultima produzione cinematografica.
Dopo tanto lavoro, sudore e fatica sono riuscita ad ultimare le riprese del mio nuovo cortometraggio che per ora ha il titolo provvisorio di: Along the rail of time" (Lungo i binari del tempo).
Le riprese sono durate 4 giorni serratissimi e sono state quasi una passeggiata rispetto alla fase di pre produzione, interamente curata da me, anche grazie alla collaborazione di Armando Buttafava, direttore della fotografia.
